No Billion Dollar Winners in 2014
The 2014 March Madness Billion Bracket Challenge did not have any winners, but don’t give up for 2015. Rumor has it that Warren Buffet intends to make it easier to win the Billion Bracket Challenge in 2015.
What to expect in the 2015 Season
Allegedly, the odds of winning the 2014 challenge were 1 in 7,205,759,400,000,000 odds (or in other words 1 in seven quadrillion, two-hundred and five trillion, seven hundred and fifty-nine billion, four hundred million). With odds like that, what does making it easier to win mean? Lowering the odds from the quadrillions to the trillions? That would still be ridiculous odds; however, stranger odds have happened in the world.
Warren Buffett was quoted as saying:
“Wait until next year, though, I think we’re going to come up with something better next year. We’ll make it a lot easier to enter. There were some questions that were a little tough I thought. We’ll make it easier to win but I think we’ll have an exciting prize.”
It sounds like March Madness fans have a lot to get excited about for the 2015 Billion Bracket Challenge Personally, I think a lot more prizes need to be given out for guessing close to the winning bracket and even just for playing.
Good luck in the 2015 challenge!
